Handover at North Brother Mountain. Laurieton Club to provide picnic lunch. Travel to Mid Tour break accommodation at Forster
2nd March
Mid-tour rest day at Forster Holiday village
3rd March
Sunday 10.00am
Pick up from accommodation at Forster by hosts. Drive to Seal Rocks Beach and Lighthouse. Lunch at Pacific Palms Recreation Club. Return to host houses. Dinner with hosts.
Monday 8.00am
8.00am Sunrise milking at Latimore’s Farm.
9.30am Breakfast at Valley café.
10.30 Russel Saunders gallery tour
12.30 BBQ lunch at Rotary park
1.30 Manning Valley Men’s Shed
3.00pm Valley industries
Team presentation at Taree Rotary meeting

Lead by the Team Leader, Flemming Libner the Rotary GCE Team from Denmark (District 1450) gave a presentation to our Club. They all gave a very brief presentation on who they were and where they came from in Denmark, as well as a little cultural information. After Flemming the team spoke as follows:
  • Helene Pinholt Olesen, School Teacher from Skjern.
  • Jannie Hald Petersen, a Police Investigator from Aarhus.
  • Christian Ladefoged, AF Consultant from Aarhus. Mikael Marinussen, IT Specialist from Herning.
  • Michael Nim Nielsen, Persian Carpet Dealer from Esbjerg.
Whilst they were here in our great Manning Valley they visited some of the following places and sights:
  • There was the handover at North Brother Mountain. Laurieton where they had a picnic lunch.
  • They visited Seal Rocks Beach and Lighthouse Beach, with lunch at the Pacific Palms Recreation Club.
  • There was the sunrise milking at Rod Lattimore’s Farm, followed by breakfast at Valley Café.
  • A tour of Russel Saunders gallery. Followed by a BBQ lunch at Rotary Park.
  • They visited the Manning Valley Men’s Shed and were given a tour of Valley Industries.
  • They also had a Social Dinner at King Creek via Krambach with the Rotary Club of Gloucester
