 Opened the meeting, welcoming Rotary and Harrington Lions Club members and Amanda Brockwell.
 The President’s Toast was made to married couples but specifically Grace and Ivan.
David Denning
 Foreshadowed plans for future activities, gave details of planned BBQ’s (now cancelled).
 He reported on the Motor Show where the BBQ was shared with Blaze Aid and the gate with the OB Mens’ Shed.
 Members were reminded of the planned Think Tank being facilitated by Fiona Tinney. Ideas for that are still being sought. The forms have been sent with the Bulletin.

 Scientific and Engineering Challenge discussions continue with University of Newcastle. If the Newcastle Uni doesn’t wish to continue we have the ability to run our own Challenge. No charge to schools – 33 Primary and seven High Schools – the largest Challenge in Australia.
 
Sergeant Bruce Moy fined everyone present for all manner of misdemeanours, particularly Dr Col who owes us the details regarding Rita Heyworth.
President Ross arrived late having attended a meeting in relation ACMA in Taree.
He thanked Rod Lattimore for hosting friends from Qatar at his farm during the week. He told us that new member “Dame” Judy Richardson was now walking following recent surgery. He also spoke about the Steel Table Tennis Table being prepared for Bobin School along with outdoor tables & chairs, new bookshelves and a Stainless Steel BBQ from Manning Mowers.
