Thank you Mid Coast Council, Taree Rotary and Taree Lions Clubs for supporting our community by hosting the Drought and Bushfire Relief BBQ on Friday, 28 February at Killabakh.
The community embraced the event with a great turnout. We enjoyed catching up and spending time with family and friends, with the added bonus of not worrying about organising or cooking. A big thank you for that.
The kids loved the jumping castle and made the most of it. The chocolate wheel was great fun, especially when you could choose your prize. The vouchers will certainly be put to good use, supporting not only us, but our local businesses. This BBQ allowed us to come together to celebrate surviving the fires and the end of the drought. Yay!
Thank you also for arranging to have representatives from various agencies in attendance. We weren't expecting that and it allowed people the opportunity to ask questions or seek assistance.
Thank you once again for hosting this event and your donation of wonderful prizes.
