The Rotary of Taree received an application in March 2017 from Bailee Pinnock for the OUTWARD-BOUND ROTARY YOUTH EXCHANGE PROGRAM for 2018.

Bailee was interviewed during March by the Club’s selection panel and found to be a very suitable candidate.
The Club board then decided that our club would support Bailee as a Youth Exchange Student for 2018.
During May the club assisted Bailee with her preparation for the Rotary District Youth Exchange Program Selection Panel Interviews to be held at the end of May at Walcha.
Bailee was very successful at the District Interviews and was given her first choice country of Denmark. Bailee will be travelling to Denmark in early 2018 for a one-year exchange being hosted by Rotary Clubs in Denmark.
Bailee will address the club later this year after she completes the District Youth Exchange Orientation Program over the next few months.
Bailee attends Taree High School and is currently in Year 10; she lives at Tinonee and is Herb and Dawn Beer’s granddaughter.
Bailee is in the advanced English and Maths classes at Taree High and she is a member of the Taree PCYC Gymaroos.
The Club is delighted to have Bailee as our youth exchange student and we wish her every success in her up and coming venture in 2018.
